this spring we've been having so many wild and dramatic thunderstorms. i think by now we've had more than in the past couple summers combined. every day now the weather goes from hot and muggy, to overcast and raining, then it clears up and the sun comes out, then it gets very windy and there is lightning flashing everywhere. this repeats several times throughout the day and evening.

anyway, this is a blending of 5 photos i took from my balcony over the space of 8 minutes as the storm mades its way across the sky. i had my camera on a tripod and each shot was 30 seconds long.

if the weather keeps up like this you can expect more of these as i learn how to capture lightning better and blend them more seamlessly.
